Still missing................£1000 REWARD OFFERED
Other Items stolen have now been recovered Thank you to everyone that looked out for them.
*
Stolen on the 30/10/06 from my house in Surrey England. This is one of many items stolen that were very precious to me.
*
This is one of a limited number made by the sculptor Michael J Sutty. Each was numbered on an accompanying document of authenticity signed by Sutty himself. The thieves failed to take this document with the item. So there is no way of knowing which number it is or consequently whether the item is genuine. This would be a matter of concern to any decerning collector.
The brass plate shown in the photo has the inscription 'Capture of the french 45th eagle by Sgt Ewart of the RSG. Waterloo 1815.
*
The eagle shown at the top of the standard held in the left hand of Sgt Ewart has at some time been broken off and refixed in incorrect alignment to the rest of the standard as the photo shows.*
A reward of £1000 has been posted with the UK Surrey police on phone number 0845 1252222 (+ UK code) quoting crime ref: B/06/24653
